Medicine, medical technology and medical research are areas in which Israel has arguably established leadership. If this leadership is to be maintained, a generation of physicians, nurses, paramedics, medical technicians and researchers must be prepared. Only early exposure to the world of medicine, including biology, chemistry, anatomy and technology, will lead children to aspire to these careers, and provide a catalyst for pursuing higher education in these fields. This is particularly significant for those young people who may not have been sufficiently encouraged at home. Technoda is now in the process of addressing this need by creating a unique Medical Education Unit in which these subjects will be taught.
