Small children in the Israeli Arab sector lack any knowledge of Hebrew, which is acquired only at a later age. Technoda strongly-held view, however, is that it is not only never too early to begin developing curiosity in a child but it is better to begin sooner rather than later. To that end, Technoda has adapted its successful Afternoon Enrichment Classes both culturally and linguistically and is now making it available to the children of Jisr-a-Zarka and other nearby villages in their mother tongue.
In Technoda immediate catchment area alone there are 7,500 potential participants. Technoda currently seeks funding to extend this program to an even greater number of Israeli Arab boys and girls.
