Preparing a next generation of Israeli science and technology leaders involves more than just having Israeli boys and girls acquire information and technical skills. Leadership requires an entrepreneurial spirit, a keen sense of justice, tolerance and cultural sensitivity. To this end, Technoda has developed a Young Leadership program that cultivates all of the above in its young participants.

The route to Young Leadership begins with learning how to work effectively and efficiently with others, i.e. to acquire basic managerial abilities. At Technoda, teenagers are trained to become assistants to the teaching and laboratory staff. In addition to the in-class curriculum, the young teens visit high-tech companies and centers of learning, tour the kinds of work places they may later wish to join, meet and talk to a host of men and women who can serve them as role models.

In Young Leadership, science education and leadership skills are brought together to enable promising young boys and girls from Givat Olga and neighboring communities to aspire to leadership positions but to actually prepare themselves to attain these.
