A small country with no natural resources, the future of Israel is and always has been dependent on the outcome and continuing quality of the scientific discoveries and technological developments that its young men and women are able to produce.

To guarantee the continuity of this potential, seeds must be sewn early, nurtured wisely, and brought carefully to fruition; state-of-the-art scientific and technological education must be made available to all Israeli boys and girls, the younger the better.
